Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD) Panel Testing at PDS

Bovine respiratory disease (BRD) is a clinical syndrome that may be caused by different bacterial and viral pathogens, alone or in combination. The diagnostic challenge is determining which pathogen(s) to test for, and in which order. This one test at a time approach can be time consuming, risking the opportunity to inform timely treatment.

PDS offers three BRD panels to make the diagnostic investigation of respiratory disease more convenient for veterinarians. The elements of these panels are listed in the table below.

Swab or leak proof container. Swabs in gel media will not be processed for PCR. 

Submit 2 swabs for the BRD Panel C&S + 7 PCR Targets
