PDS offers three Porcine Diarrhea Panels to make diagnostic investigation of diarrhea more convenient for swine veterinarians.
Porcine diarrhea can be caused by many different bacterial and viral pathogens. The diagnostic challenge is determining which pathogen(s) to test for and in which order. An à la carte approach can be time consuming and risks missing the best time for treatment. Also, the production stage affects test selection because some pathogens cause diarrhea more often at certain ages.
